Universidad Carlos III de Madrid agreement
On 26 January 2011, the Dean of Carlos III University of Madrid and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Francisco Corell signed an Academic Collaboration Framework Agreement between Carlos III University of Madrid and Fundación Francisco Corell to create a Master’s Degree in “Industrial Economy: Speciality in Transport Economics.”
This Collaboration Agreement responds to our vocation of bringing the University closer to companies and, pursuant to our objectives, offers the highest degree of education and promotes the best professional and technical training for the workers and executives of industry companies, fostering research on transport and means thereof.
The Master’s Degree in Industrial Economy (MEI), whose classes are delivered in English, offers solid training in three basic areas: industrial organisation (competition regulation and policy), corporate finance and economics, and quantitative economic analysis. The MEI syllabus is distributed over two academic years (October to June), the second of which includes several specialist courses. The teaching staff includes lecturers from the University itself and experts from public and private institutions that collaborate with the MEI, allowing the students to be recognised as experts in key areas of industrial activity.
