IRU and FUNDACIÓN F. CORELL SIGN A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT

On 10 December 2013, the Board of Trustees of Fundación Francisco Corell resolved, at their last meeting of the year, to accept the incorporation of theInternational Road Transport Union (IRU)..

Through the signature of this collaboration agreement at the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the year, on 11 March 2014, Fundación Francisco Corell gained international standing and reinforced the composition of its Board of Trustees, integrating as member Michael Moller Nielsen, Delegate General of the IRU for the EU, appointed by the EU as its representative on the Board of Trustees.

The objectives of Fundación Francisco Corell include: the promotion and sustainable development of international road transport, fostering respect for the environment and improvement in safety and the technology used by transport companies.

On 9 February 200, Fundación Francisco Corell and Mercedes-Benz España, S.A. signed a Collaboration Agreement for Activities of General Interest whereby Mercedes-Benz España became a collaborating entity in the activities organised by Fundación Francisco Corell.

Fundación Francisco Corell is a Foundation declared of general interest with the ultimate purpose, inter alia, of promoting the development of international road transport in Spain, particularly regarding respect for the environment and improvement in safety and the technology used by road transport companies.

Mercedes-Benz España wishes to transmit to society its concern for environmental, safety and technological improvement issues affecting road transport. For the aforementioned purpose, the parties agreed to enter into this Collaboration Agreement for Activities of General Interest.

COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE SPAIN, S.A.

ContinentalOn 30 October 2003, Fundación Francisco Corell and Siemens VDO Automotive, S.A. signed a Collaboration Agreement for Activities of General Interest in Madrid (Spain), whereby Siemens VDO, currently Continental Automotive, became a collaborating entity in the activities organised by Francisco Corell.

Fundación Francisco Corell is an institution declared of general interest with the ultimate purpose, inter alia, of promoting the development of international road transport in Spain, particularly regarding respect for the environment and improvement in safety and the technology used by road transport companies.

Continental Automotive’s commitment to the transport industry fits in perfectly with the objectives of Fundación Francisco Corell. Both institutions promote the development of road transport and are strongly committed to new technologies applied to the industry for the purpose of achieving transport with highly controlled costs, very low emissions, vehicles fully intercommunicated with each other, their companies and with the exterior, in addition to placing this technology within reach of all companies.
